Our Politics Suck Ass

Okay, from what I understand of the current economy, the abuse of the Constitution and such under Bush, the citizens of the US are being fucked over by the government. Our government is so infested with religious idiocy that you can't get elected to most offices without paying lip service to Christ. So, question: If our current political climate royally sucks ass for the citizens, why don't we invoke the same ideal we originally did?

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
The government is definitely destroying our rights, and I don't think many people would give their consent to get totally fucked over so that corporations that were ridiculously stupid can survive to fuck up again. Of course, I don't mean overthrowing the government; that would come later, if other ways don't work. But our government isn't serving the interests of the citizens anymore. The citizens should not sit by and let them fuck us over for their own benefit and their friend's benefit.

New Dover

I figure I should probably actually, yknow, post about atheism, since it's been a while since I did anything like that. I note that we have a new Dover trial in the works, but with full fledged creationism instead of just intelligent design. We should get science-minded people everywhere to run for school boards and vote on it; getting two boards in a single decade to promote creationism is something any developed country to be ashamed of. Oh, if you want to, you can start losing hope for humanity and/or America now. It's probably about the right time.

I just noticed I have both an insanity tag and a fucktards tag. Kinda redundant. Maybe I should fix it...

While sitting around waiting to be hit by a hurricane, I'm conquering the continent by slaughtering my enemies in Spore at the Creature level. After that, I'm going for an epic creature! EVERYTHING SHALL FALL BEFORE MY WRATH! MWAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH!

Yes, it's a post about Sarah Palin, just like every single other blogger out there.

I wasn't going to blog about Sarah Palin, but when the news says this, I couldn't help it:

She married her high school sweetheart Todd, a North Slope oil field worker, and quickly started a family. She gave birth to their first son Track less than eight months later. Sarah worked for his family's commercial fishing business.

Apparently her daughter wasn't the only one who got pregnant out of wedlock...
